Calvin Coleman Jones, Sr.

Calvin C. Jones Sr., 89, of Prince George, passed away on Sunday April 24, 2016. He was the son the of the late Virgil Leon Jones and Maria Coleman Jones. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Ann Matyiko Jones; granddaughter, Wendy D. Balazik; three infant grandchildren; brother, Okley Jones; sisters, Alice J. Keefe and Helen J. Tuscany. Calvin is survived by his daughters, Rebecca “Becky” J. Crowder, Joyce Jones, and Melba J. Getty and her husband, Juan; his son, C. Coleman Jones Jr.; grandchildren, Alison, Karen, Paul, Amber; five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Southall Jones and his wife, Ola; and numerous other extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Friday April 29, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral home with a visitation to follow.
