Caleb Guartazaca Encalada left this world to be with our lord on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 25. Though his time with us was far too short, the light he brought into this world will remain forever.
Caleb was born in Tulchyn, Ukraine, on July 1, 2000. After spending his childhood there, life brought him to the United States, where he was welcomed into a family. He was homeschooled through grade twelve, graduating in 2017, and later pursued his passion for language by studying Linguistics. Caleb had a natural gift for connecting with people, something that shined through in his love for social media, modeling, and influencing. He had an energy that pulled others in, a smile that softened any room, and a presence that made even strangers feel seen.
At 20, Caleb chose to proudly serve his country in the United States Army, a chapter of his life that shaped him with discipline, resilience, and pride. His service allowed him to grow, travel, and connect with others in ways that meant a great deal to him. During this time, he met Bryam at Fort Eustis, Virginia, in April 2022. Their bond grew quickly and beautifully, leading them to marry on February 14, 2023. He carried the lessons, memories, and friendships from his military service close to his heart.
To know Caleb was to understand joy. He was the life of every gathering, funny, warm, genuinely inviting, and always ready to make someone laugh. His laughter was unforgettable, and his spirit was gentle, loving, and deeply compassionate. Caleb never met a stranger. He carried a rare sweetness that made everyone around him feel appreciated, valued, and loved. He had a heart that loved deeply and openly, and his positivity made the world around him brighter.
Caleb is survived by his loving husband, Bryam Guartazaca Encalada, the love of his life and the person with whom he shared his happiest memories. He is also survived by his biological sister, Elizabeth Joy Green; several sets of parents, including Jason Migliore and Penny Walsh, who cherished him; many brothers and sisters of the heart; and a community of friends who loved him deeply.
A service to honor Caleb's life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son, 820 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA 23860. A reception will follow at the home he shared with his "Ma," 15370 Nobles Rd., Disputanta, VA 23842, where family and friends will gather to share stories, memories, and the love he left behind.
Caleb will forever be remembered for the way he made others feel like a friend, like family, like someone important. His kindness, his laughter, his love for animals, and his passion for capturing moments through photography and videography will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Though he has left this world, the beauty he brought into it remains. His light, his love, and his memory will continue to guide us always.
