Brenda Lee Priode

Brenda Lee Priode, age 83, left this world to go be with the Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Brenda was born on February 1, 1943, to Mildred Hare Creech and Norwood Lee Creech. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Craft Priode; her sister, Jackie Lorraine Creech; her son, Daniel Tyson Frazier; her stepdaughter, Cheryl Jean Price; her stepson, Jeffrey Dean Priode; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two stepsons, Joseph Lynn Priode and Kenneth Leon Priode. Brenda was a gentle and proud mother, and a loyal and nurturing wife. She was fond of arts and crafts and enjoyed painting. She was an accomplished beautician and had formal training in cosmetology. She owned and operated a salon in Hopewell for several years. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with visitation beginning an hour prior. Interment will be at Blandford Cemetery on a later date.
