Brenda Whipp Presti

Brenda Whipp Presti, 57, of Chester, VA, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Carolyn "Meemo" Collins Whipp; and was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Velvet Presti Thacker. Mrs. Presti graduated from Richard Bland College and went on to work for BB&T (now Truist) with 38 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed shopping, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and "Mami Yami." Mrs. Presti is survived by her husband of 15 years, Chris Presti; three children, Rachel Allison Strotman and husband, Ryan, Casey Anne Ozmore and husband, Donnie Jr., and Melissa Marie Presti; two grandchildren, Gentry LeeAnne Strotman and Marshall David Strotman; her father, David Lee Whipp; one brother, David Lee Whipp II and wife, Teresa, and their children, David Lee Whipp III and Sydney Marie Whipp; and her life-long best friends, Julie Thompson and Amanda Shock.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Brenda Whipp Presti.
