Brenda Sue Phillips

Brenda Sue Phillips, 69 of Chester, VA, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Peggy Eve Phillips; and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Middleton; and a brother, Vernal Phillips. Brenda will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother, nana and sister. She is survived by her three children, Nicola Collins (William), Jamar Bynum (Shaniqua), and Barry Warren (Kymberly); six grandchildren, Derious, Chanse, Quayshon, Nicholas, Azhar, and Acen; eight siblings, Patricia, Martha, Yvonne, Mona, William, Maurice, Rosevelt, and Jeffrey; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
