Bobbie Leonard Brown

Bobbie Leonard Brown, 94, passed away on March 25, 2026. He was born and raised in Covington, VA, to the late Lones Brown and Hattie Brown. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Betty Jean Brown; his son, Glenn Edwin Brown; his sister, Edith Marie Myers; his brother, Lones J. Brown, Jr.; and his special sister-in-law, India Brown.

He was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church for many years. He dutifully served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954 in the Korean War. He retired from the Hercules plant in Hopewell after years of hard work. He was a member of the VFW Post #637, and had many friends there. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Lisa Brown; his sister, Jo Ann Westfall; and his nephew, Rick Ellis (Carolyn).

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia.
