Bobbie Joe Berger

Bobbie Joe Berger, 85, of Chester, VA, passed away on March 14, 2026. Born January 17, 1941, in Bonham, Texas, he was the son of the late Lonnie Lee and Carlean Marie Berger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Leigh Berger Sullivan; sons, Larry Ray Berger and Roger Leon Berger; sisters, Louise Berger Turner and Juanita Berger Lumpkin; and brother, Lonnie Eugene Berger.

Bobbie was a dedicated employee of Chesterfield County Utilities and retired after 27 years of service. Following retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

Bobbie is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Nancy Arnold Berger; son, Gary Dale Berger; grandsons, Alexander Neal Sullivan, Christopher Leon Berger, and Colton Dale Berger; granddaughters, Stacy Ann Berger, Mandy Lynn Sullivan, and Lauren Elizabeth Sullivan; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Bobbie will be held at a later date at Bermuda Memorial Park. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son.
