Betty Jane Sprouse

Betty Jane Sprouse, 63, of Sussex Co. died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Bettie Sadler Humphries. She loved playing Bingo and shooting Pool. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, always thinking about others and put them before herself. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Dale Sprouse, Sr; five children, Jimmy Marshall Scott and wife, Jennifer, Matthew Wayne Scott and wife, Caryn Elizabeth, Alice Jane Neering and husband, John, Timothy Dale Sprouse, Jr. and wife, Lisa Carol and Robert William Sprouse; five grandchildren, Heather Dawn Scott, MaKayla Jane Scott, Mark Allen Scott, Angelina Bettie Alizabeth Neering and Shaylyr Mae Scott; six brothers, Robert Samuel Humphries, William Emmett Humprhies, James Humphries, Phillip Humphries, John Humphries and Daniel Humphries; two sisters, Maxine Griffin and Lois Roberta Mann. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Matoaca Cemetery.
