Betty Jean Chandler

Betty Jean Chandler, 81, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Powell Chandler; her parents, Erman Lucian and Berta Elvira Grady Peters; and her sister, “Tut” Freeman. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Palmer and her husband, Bill of Chester, Jo Mims and her husband, Larry of Manteo, NC, and Jessica Campbell and her husband, Jerry of Iron City, TN; grandchildren, Jared, Justin, Lindsey, Mike, Steve, Chris, Andrea, Dana, and Kristine; great grandchildren, Taylor, Lily, and Brooke; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, with a graveside service to follow at 11:30 am at Sunset Memorial Park, with Dr. Lloyd Braswell officiating.
