Bettie Lou Gill

Bettie Lou Gill, 76, of Church Road, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Annie Lewis.
Bettie was employed by the City of Petersburg for 31 years as a clerk with the Commissioner of Revenue. She loved flowers and gardening.
Bettie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Cooper Gill, Jr.; her sons, Tony Gill (Barbara) and Darrell Gill (Melissa); and her sister, Ann Marie Lewis.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - 6616 Boydton Plank Road, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23803.
The family requests no flowers, and suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.com.
