Barbara Mayhew Wilson

Barbara M. Wilson, 72, of Dinwiddie County, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Giles and Adell Mayhew; and a brother, Michael C. Mayhew all of Church Road. Barbara worked for the Dinwiddie County Transportation Department for over 30 years. She was a devoted wife, beloved mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Wilson of Dinwiddie; daughters, Cathy Wilson of Dinwiddie and Kim Jones (Mike) of Disputanta; a son, Ricky Wilson (Tammy) of Dinwiddie and Joe Kiley of Richmond; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Tony Mayhew (Margaret) of Bedford and Eddie Mayhew (Linda) of Vinton. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
