Antoinette A Denmark

Antoinette A. Denmark, 103, of Chester, VA, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026. "Toni", as her friends and family knew her, was born in Wayne, PA. She was the daughter of Italian parents and made her home in Chester for the past 25 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis M. Denmark; her parents, Benjamin and Mary Amodei; and her sister, Angelina C. Pierce.

Toni is survived by her daughter, Denise Denmark Burton and husband, Floyd; and two grandsons, Tyler Bland and wife, Carmen, and Chase Bland and wife, Tina. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren, Anderson, Camden, Henry, Reese and William Bland.

Toni was a musician and taught piano for over 50 years. She was the original organist at Saint Augustine Catholic Church. She also worked for the Chesterfield County Government for over 20 years. She loved to entertain and cook for family and friends, but her greatest joy was traveling the world with her husband. They took many trips abroad in their 72 years together, especially to Italy. She met and made many friends along the way throughout her long life.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at The Crossings at Ironbridge in Chester for the wonderful care she has received over the past five plus years. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff of Legacy Hospice for the loving care they provided.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 West Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Toni's name to Legacy Hospice, 5540 Falmouth Street, #200, Richmond, VA, 23230.
