Anthony Joseph Weyland

Anthony J. Weyland, 84, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on October 7, 2026. He was born in Cook County, IL, to the late Anthony and Mary Weyland. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Judith Hjarpé.

Anthony is survived by his devoted wife, Judith Weyland; daughter, Jody Figiel (Chris); son, Tony Weyland (Tonya); grandchildren, Hunter Reith (Shannon), Keatyn Flores (Alex), Anthony "Bud" Weyland IV (Jessica), Amber Rodenbo (Donald), Jansen, and Todd; great-grandchildren, A.J. Weyland, Jackson Weyland, Carter Weyland, Leona, Jace, Jonah, Callahan, Ciara, Brenton, Shane, Jasper, and Oliver; great-great-grandchildren, Abbi Joe, Oakleigh, and James; sister, Mary Schik; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Anthony was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather. He cherished his family and will be deeply missed by all.

Services will be private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
