Annie Leavon Thompson

Annie Leavon Thompson, 89, of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Wesley Herman Thompson; and parents, Benjamin Franklin Baker and Eva Frances Baker. She is survived by her brothers, Herbert Cullen Baker and his wife, Carolyn and Bennie Carson Baker and late wife, Virginia; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday, February 17, 2025, in Appomattox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to West Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 2602 Wise Street, Hopewell, VA 23860.
