Amy Ray Head, 90, passed away on February 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, John LaVelle Head. She loved meeting new people and was no stranger to making friends anywhere she went. She raised and trained her esteemed horse, Stormy, who she won several events with, including a championship ribbon for "Best Under Halter." For over 50 years, she spent her days caring for the children of friends and family alike as their beloved "Ms. Amy." She is survived by her daughter, Becky Hopkins; her grandchildren, Shawn Michael Grant and Alexaundra Star Cox (Blake); her great-grandchildren, Dakota and Ryland Cox; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her immediate family, her extended family included her close neighbors, Kevin and Donna Carnes, and Johnny Cibula.
