Alison Nichols Taylor passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Alison was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished daughter, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the deep love she shared with those closest to her. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Dorse Taylor, Jr., and their precious daughter, Finnegan Taylor. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Valerie and Edward Cowdrey; her father and stepmother, Donald and Linda Nichols; her loyal and treasured brother, Seth Nichols; her parents-in-law, Dorse, Sr. and Karen Taylor; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Alison's courage, compassion, and unwavering love touched countless lives. Though her time here was far too short, the memories she created and the love she gave will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, caregivers, and friends whose kindness and support brought comfort throughout Alison's illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Please leave your fondest memories and stories of Alison in the “Share Your Memories” section. These will be compiled into a Legacy book for her daughter, Finn, so that Finn never forgets how wonderful her mother was.
Alison will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
