Alan Lee Adair

Alan Lee Adair, 85, of Prince George, VA, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. Born in Marshalltown, Iowa, he was the son of the late Britt Sr. and June Adair. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Britt Adair, Jr. Alan is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ramona Adair; his daughter, Tammy Welch and her husband, Chuck; his two sons, Tim Adair and Mark Adair; one brother, Rex Adair; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Alan retired from Hercules, Inc. after many years of devoted service. Alan was fond of antiquing and had a passion for refinishing old furniture to give it new life. He was an avid bird-watcher who loved the outdoors and all manner of wildlife.

A funeral service for Alan will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 2:30pm, with interment to follow at Blandford Cemetery. The family will accept friends one hour prior to the service, at 1:30pm, at the chapel.
