William Harold Bjornes

William Harold Bjornes, Sr., 83, of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Harold Bjornes and Ann Pert Bjornes. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ray Hanchey. William was employed with Allied Chemical as a machinist, retiring after 31 years. He enjoyed working on various house projects throughout his life. He also enjoyed helping his neighbors, Jeff and Walter, whenever they needed him. William had a special love for his great-grand doggie, Lucy. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his children, William H. Bjornes, Jr., Laura Brown, and Charles Minor; grandchildren, Tara Brown, Heather Brown, Anya Dumke (Devin), Elijah Bjornes, Jonathan Bjornes, and Daniel Bjornes; brother, John Bjornes (Christine); sister, Pat Hanchey; mother of his children, Priscilla Bjornes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
