    Thomas Frederick Heimbuch, Jr.

    March 7, 1931 - September 22, 2021

    Thomas Frederick Heimbuch, Jr., MSGT, USAF Retired, 90, of Prince George, VA passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Born in New Albany, Indiana he was the son of the late Thomas F. Heimbuch Sr. and Mildred Heimbuch; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Janet Joan Heimbuch; his infant son, Daniel W. Heimbuch; and his grandparents. Mr. Heimbuch faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force and went on to retire after 27 years of dedicated service. Following his retirement from the military, he went on to work as a general contractor for 20 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hopewell and was a volunteer at John Randolph Medical Center for many years where he loved to help people. Mr. Heimbuch is survived by his two sons, Thomas F. Heimbuch, III and wife, Robin and Timothy K. Heimbuch and wife, Kathy; four grandchildren, Tiffany Heimbuch (John), Brooke Fitzwater (Chris), Kendra Tucker (Ryan) and Tyler Heimbuch (Beth); and nine great-grandchildren, Ayden and Wade Morris, Maddex, Briella and Willow Fitzwater, Lawsen and Peyton Tucker, and Kent and Kane Heimbuch. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
