Richard Alexander Titmus, Sr., 80, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was the son of the late, Berthel and Pearl Hargrave Titmus. Richard was a lifelong electrician and was a member of Kenwood United Methodist Church. He was a laid-back person who was always willing to help others. When he did a job, he did it to the best of his abilities. Mr. Titmus is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gale Oakley Titmus; a son, Richard Alexander Titmus, Jr. (Karen); one daughter, Rhonda Michelle Rowland; three grandchildren, Jackson Oakley Titmus, Edward Brennan Rowland and Shelby Lind Rowland (Anthony); and two great-grandchildren, James Cutter McGee and Anthony Salvatore Vitale. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
