    Phillip Ray Frazier

    October 22, 1957 - February 21, 2022

    Phillip Ray Frazier, 64, of Dinwiddie, VA, died on February 21, 2022. He fought a long, courageous battle against diabetes and kidney failure that led him home to be with the Lord. Phil was born and raised in Hopewell, VA, he was the son of Mary Helen Goode and David Goode of New Kent and the late Lexie C. Frazier. Phil was a loving husband, father, and PeePaw. He served his country proudly in the Navy and made sure everyone knew it. Phil was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to high school football games and watching his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys, Alabama Crimson Tide, and UVA. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Susan Frazier; stepchildren Jeff Collins, Chris Collins, and Dina Roberts; 10 step-grandchildren; 23 step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lexie Frazier of Kannapolis and Terry Frazier of Hopewell; a niece, Alex Frazier and three nephews, Will Frazier, Travis Frazier, and Justin Frazier. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m., and a funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the J.T. Morriss & Son in Chester, VA. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
