    Myrtle "Faye" Dolan

    August 12, 1944 - May 3, 2022

    Myrtle "Faye" Dolan, 77, of North Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Myrtle Foster; and her husband, Daniel Dolan, to whom she was married for 25 years. Faye was a graduate of Petersburg High School. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was also employed for many years as a meat wrapper. Faye enjoyed baking, collecting cardinals, and taking care of her little dog. Faye is survived by her daughters, Tracie W. Lewis (Lin) of Dewitt and Anita R. Dolan of Hopewell; son, Christopher Cullop (Chung) of Chesapeake; stepdaughter, Teresa Higgins (Keith) of Colonial Heights; brother, Bennie Bruce Foster (Patricia) of Colonial Heights; six grandchildren, Robert Lewis III, Michael Lewis (Allison), Cory Cullop, Chase Cullop, Christopher Cullop, and Chris Higgins (Jennifer); three great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and her best friend, Mary "Poochie" Kirkland. The family wishes to thank the hospice care team, including Gin-nine, Vanessa, Josie, and Brandy, as well as Fayes special caregiver, Terry Morgan. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 6 PM - 8 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son - Dinwiddie, 6616 Boydton Plank Road. There will be a funeral service in the chapel the next day, May 7, 2022, at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's at www.stjude.org. Online condolences may be registered to the family at www.jtmorriss.com.
