Monroe Combs England, 82, of Dinwiddie, passed away on April 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mamie England; his wife, Edeltraud England; daughters, Julia Motto, Marina Andrews, and Princess Rhodes; son, JB England; grandson, David Andrews; and sister, Ruby Albonette. Monroe was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sons, Edward England (Beverly), Michael Kitchen (Jen), TT Kitchen (Shelly), and Steven Kitchen (Pearly); daughters, Ruby Dix (Cory), Donna Aldridge (Tommy), and Pat Cox (Jeff); 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Elizabeth Brinkley; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son - Dinwiddie, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, where a service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Appomattox Cemetery in Hopewell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bon Secours Community Hospice House.
