Mary H. Anderson, 63, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on March 28, 2022 surrounded by her children. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Willie Lee and Cora Faye Woodruff Holmes. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed cooking for her family, hosting family gatherings and going shopping. She also enjoyed working in the floral industry as a floral designer. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her four children, Holli Bowman and husband, Gary, Emily Anderson-Maskell and husband, David, Amy Wilson and husband, Michael, and Mason W. Anderson and wife, Mallory; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Susan Dowdy and husband, Marshall, Betty Thorpe and husband, Harold, Doris Blankenship and husband, David, and Carol Mills and husband, Andrew; her very special friend, J. Craig Hall; and several special nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
