Marjorie Ochs Christoffel

Marjorie Christoffel, 94, of Hopewell, VA., died Thursday, July 19, 2018 at John Randolph Hospital. She was a piano teacher in her home for 30 years, a former member of the Hopewell Women’s Club, Appomattox Garden Club, and was an active church member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She graduated from Oshawa Missionary College and attended Emmanuel Missionary College. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Pastor Larry and Joyce Christoffel of Grand Terrace, CA; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Wilkerson of Wilsons, VA.; her daughter, Sandra Young of Hopewell, VA.; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 happily married years, Ivan Christoffel; her parents, Ethel and Pastor William B. Ochs; and brother, Roger Ochs. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
