Marites Walters, 50, of Hopewell, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Her light and joy will be missed by all. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jonathan Walters; adoring child, Eun Ji Lee; loving mother, Yolanda Mahinay; caring siblings, Radilla Mahinay Deondo, Delfin Mahinay, Joel Mahinay, Mario Mahinay, Rosaly Mahinay, Yonesa Mahinay and Michael Mahinay; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. The viewing will be at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on March 3, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel, followed immediately by the interment at Bermuda Memorial Park. There will be a reception at Residence Inn by Marriott, 800 Bermuda Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23836, following the interment. Condolences may be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com.
