Marie Ryan Gibbs, 73, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Ryan, Jr. and Georgia Clark Ryan; her spouse, Ira Gibbs, Jr.; and her brother, John Ryan. Marie was a big-hearted woman, who was a loving mother and grandmother. Above all, she loved her family. She is survived by her children, Dawn Ziegenfuss, Carol Potter (Larry), Jeanne Cosier (Stan), Ira Gibbs III, and Justin Gibbs; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Joseph, Thomas, Brandon, Nicholas, Krystin, Lee, Ashley, Briana, Roman, and Glorie; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Harmon McClung, Larry McClung, Irene Garrette, Martin Ryan III, and Cathy Daniel.
