Karen Sue Atkins, 63, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022. Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Blevins; brother, Joseph Blevins; and her sister, Emma "Shelly" Blevins. She is survived by her devoted husband, Billy Atkins; son, Chris Atkins and wife, Melanie; daughter, Tiffany Clary and husband, Jamal; stepsons, Chad Murdock and Brandon Chapple; 15 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren; sister, Marcia Grimsley and husband, Marvin; father, James Blevins; brother, Scott Blevins; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sue was a member of Way Church in Prince George. Her passion was to help others and spread the word of God. She loved the Lord and her friends and family. She served her Lord as a licensed minister and touched so many lives. Sue loved traveling and taking trips with her husband and grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, March 4, 2022 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son, 820 W. Broadway Ave., Hopewell, VA 23860. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 11:00 a.m. at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life service will follow Saturday, March 5, 2022 12:00 p.m. at Way Church in the Redemption Inn, 5201 Courthouse Rd., Prince George, VA 23875.
