    Hansel Caudill

    June 28, 1940 - January 24, 2022

    Hansel "Pop" Caudill, 81, of North Dinwiddie, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernie and Verna Caudill; his loving wife, Myra Caudill; sisters, Josephine Bell, Mary Lou Whitaker and Kathleen Caudill; grandson, Daniel Jennings; and a brother, Lynn Allen Caudill. He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn "Kat" Martin; daughter, Vicky Jennings (Bobby); grandchildren, Daniel Ray Martin (Beth), Brandon Martin, Hunter Martin, Taira Lee (Brandon Edmonds), Chad Caudill, Rachel Mitchell, and Courtney Cook (Derron); great-grandchildren, Daniel "DJ" Martin, Caleob Martin, Ethan Martin, Ryleigh Edmonds, Beau Hansel Edmonds, Shyanne Martin, Kamryn Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell, Aulbrie Caudill, Raelynn Cook, and Tatum Cook; sisters, Geneva McKenny, and Veneda Phillips; brothers, Kenneth Ray Caudill (Brenda); and Russell Caudill (Sharon); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Hansel enjoyed wood working, cutting grass, and looking out the window. His greatest joy was playing with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren and being the best "Pop" in the world. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022 at J.T. Morriss & Son Chester Chapel. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at the chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
