Frances Benedict Williamson

February 13, 1955 - February 4, 2022

Frances Benedict Williamson, 66, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. Born in Quantico, VA, she was the daughter of the late Sultan Joseph Benedict, Sr. and Margaret Ellen Chestnut Benedict; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Sultan J. "Joey" Benedict, Jr.; and a sister, Joan Brown. Mrs. Williamson was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 284 in Colonial Heights. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting and playing Bunco. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. Mrs. Williamson is survived by her son, Charles Joseph "CJ" Williamson and wife, Nicole Mullenix; her daughter, Angelique Nichole "Niki" Williamson; three grandchildren, Charles Lucas "Luke" Williamson, Heath Owen Williamson and Ashlyn Grey Williamson; five siblings, Stephen Paul Benedict, James Michael "Jimmy" Benedict, Mary Ann Benedict, Martha Ellen "Martie" Benedict and Evelyn Marie "EJ" Benedict; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local humane society in memory of Frances Williamson.
