Fannie Ruby Hanchey

Fannie Ruby Hanchey, 93, of Hopewell died Saturday, June 7, 2014. She was born the daughter of the late Mack Daniel and Anna Harris King and is the widow of Earl Ephraim Hanchey. She worked as a secretary for 30 years at E.H. Saunders and Son and attended South Hopewell Church of God. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn H. Rawlings and husband Ernest; a grandson, Stacey L. Rawlings and wife Lois; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Sydney and James Rawlings. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 13th at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Thurman Collier officiating. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
