Eleanor Virginia Temple

Eleanor Virginia Temple, 88, of Chester, VA passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Born in Christiansburg, VA she was the daughter of the late, Lather and Toy Hylton Simmons; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Weston Temple. Mrs. Temple will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Charles Temple, Yvonne Rutherford (Gary), Sharon Temple, Ricky Temple and Bruce Temple; an aunt, Virginia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
