Dennis Neal Hock, Sr., 65, unexpectedly passed away February 4, 2022. Dennis was born August 31, 1956, in Vance County, North Carolina. He is preceded in death last year by his wife, Verna Hock, whom he married in 1976. They settled down in Hopewell, Virginia. Dennis was a long-time employee of ICI Americas and Dupont Teijin Films. He enjoyed playing golf and having fun in his free time. Dennis is survived by his sister, Debra Crumpler; two sons, Neal Hock and Jonathan Hock; and four grandchildren, Chiara and Tripp Hock, and Jackson Gotchall and Isabella Hock. A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
