    Clinton Eugene Cunningham

    December 5, 1934 - April 10, 2022

On April 10, 2022, Palm Sunday, Clinton E. Cunningham, 87, peacefully departed from this world and joined his beloved Savior Jesus Christ. Remaining here to cherish Clint's memory are his wife, Linda Cunningham; son, Raymond Cunningham; daughter, Michelle Clarke; grandson, Christopher Clarke; nephew, Charles McEwen, Jr.; stepdaughter, Carolyn Brown and her children, Amanda Warner (Jonathan), Kaitlyn Tavor (Cameron), Austin Zardoust, and Katarina Zardoust; stepsister, Donna Ellis, and her daughter, Dawn Godfrey (Trey); 3 step great-grandchildren; and his church family at West Hopewell Presbyterian Church. Clint was employed for 31 years at Reynolds Aluminum. After his retirement from Reynolds, he was employed as a security guard at John Randolph Medical Center. Clint was known as a quiet and kind man, and was often found helping and serving others. He loved the outdoors, and greatly enjoyed hunting, working in his yard, and taking walks in the neighborhood. Most of all, Clint loved sharing the gospel of Jesus with others. Clint enjoyed joining teams for short-term mission trips, beginning with a trip to Belize. Later, he was privileged to join teams for trips to Canada on ten occasions, where he served among the Cree Nation. Clint also enjoyed participating in several trips within the United States as part of Mission to North America's Disaster Response ministry. Locally, Clint enjoyed his work in ministry at Riverside Regional Jail. A memorial service to celebrate Clint's life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at West Hopewell Presbyterian Church. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
