    Adolph William Skalak, Jr.

    May 30, 1933 - February 6, 2022

    A.W. "Buzzie" Skalak, Jr., 88, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2022. A lifelong resident of Prince George County, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked as a farmer upon his discharge. He is survived by his sister, Doris Vlk; brother-in-law, Edward Harvanek; nieces, Kathy Miller and Kim Puryear; and nephews, Mark Harvanek, Donald Harvanek, Michael Miller, and Bruce Vlk. He is fondly remembered by his first cousins Emily Cerny, Mary Zahradka, and Bill Uhrich. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Harvanek and parents, Georgia Skalak and A.W. Skalak, Sr. A graveside service will be held at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, Virginia on February 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.jtmorriss.com.
