From the presentation that Mike lead me through to Renee helping with the insurance process and the other wonderfuly accommodating staff, whose names I regretfully cannot remember, it is very obvious they are very knowlegeable in their professions and sincerely compassionate. When I told Mike about my Dad’s life’s story, he immediately knew what to highlight in planning his funeral. Once he showed me the appropriate options, there was no doubt that I immediately knew what type of service we wanted for my father, from the casket to the tribute and ending with the cemetery. My dad was a WWII Veteran so they made the entire service pure joy and celebration with a full honor military service and burial which, included the Honor Guard and folding of the FLAG and presentation of the FLAG to my mother. When the actual day arrived, the funeral home professionals were all there to greet us. They were so accommodating and met our every need before I even knew what we needed. From arranging the flowers to setting up tables for family and military memorabilia, they worked diligently to make everything look perfect. The flow of the viewing and service went smoothly and they brought everything perfectly together. We, as the family, didn’t have to worry about anything. The video screen présentation of our photos was arranged with a lovely military tribute throughout the family photos. I have never seen such a beautifully arranged video along with soothing music. The chapel was beautiful and the casket and FLAG presentation was heartwarming. From the first visit, including phone calls and right up until the viewing and chapel memorial, the funeral service at the Chester JT Morriss Funeral Home was the best I have ever experienced. Their expertise put our family at ease. We didn’t have to think or worry about anything. We were able to enjoy our family time, the flowers and video photos at our leisure. They even packed up all of our family memorabilia and flowers and delivered them to our home, along with Thank You notes and DVD copies of our photo video streaming. I cannot thank them enough for their expertise, professionalism, empathy and coordination of our service. They simply are the best at what they do...taking care of families!
