Q. What is cremation?
A. Cremation is actually a natural process that relies on intense heat and evaporation to reduce a body to ashes. These ashes are called cremains.
Q. How will my pet be treated?
A. Your pet will be treated with with complete and total respect. It is very important to us that each pet is treated with the dignity it deserves. We assure you that your pet will be handled carefully at all times.
Q. I would like to keep my pet's ashes after the cremation. What are my options?
A. The ashes are returned in a wooden urn that can be used for burial or to scatter the cremains. We also offer a wide selection of decorative urns for you to put the ashes on display.
Q. Are these the real ashes of my pet?
A. Yes. Precious Memories guarantees in writing that your pet is tracked from beginning to end and that you will receive a cremation certificate along with the cremains of your pet.
Q. Can I attend the cremation?
A. Yes. Our facilities are open to any family member who would like to inspect the facility before the cremation, or would like to be present for the cremation.
Q. Can I bury my pet?
A. Yes. You can bury your pet or your pet's cremains in a pet cemetery. Cemeteries will either bury your pet privately or in a communal plot. Some city and county governments allow burial at home, as well.
