Willard Archer Graham, Sr.

Willard Archer Graham, Sr., 93, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014. Born in Dekalb County, Alabama, he was the son of the late Timmons and Ethel Lybrand Graham. Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Mary Graham; daughters, Marie Lessman, Karen Sandoval; sons, Doyle Graham and his wife, Anita Akers, Willard A. Graham, Jr. “Billy”; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Wayne S. Graham; sister, Mary Magdalene Roberts; step-daughter, Earline Dennis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2901 Norfolk Street, Hopewell, Va. 23860, with Rev. Steven Vornov, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, in his honor. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park.
