Cruey, Harry Lee, long-time resident of Prince George County, VA. A devoted loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the age of 84. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Elsie; daughters, Susan Schold (Joseph), Sandra Cruey (Michael Cranston) and Sharon Stewart (David); five grandchildren, David Lee Stewart, Jessica Stewart, Spencer Schold, Alexandra Cranston and Rachael Cranston; his 4 great-grandchildren, LeeAnne, Hunter, Austin and Caroline; brothers, Albert Cruey (Dreama) and Hughes Cruey (Michiko) ; sister, Eleanor VanHoozer; special companion and dog, Snuggles. Harry was born in North Holston, VA in 1930. He enlisted in the United States Army serving his country for 21 years. He was a distinguished veteran, serving two tours in both Korea and Vietnam. Harry’s greatest source of pride and accomplishment was his role of a dedicated, loving and devoted family man. He will be greatly missed but his memory will be forever in our hearts.
