Christine Ann Rightmyer

Christine Ann Rightmyer, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was born on October 7, 1944 in Manchester NH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosario and Yvonne Dubois. After retiring as an executive secretary, she devoted her life to volunteerism. She held numerous positions in Officer’s Wives Clubs, both in the United States and Germany. Additionally she was very active in the Army Community Service and the American Red Cross. Christine was a charter member of the Fort Lee Theater Company and served as President for eleven years. She was nothing short of amazing in all that she undertook to accomplish. She was loved by many and will always be in our hearts. She is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Robert Rightmyer; daughter, Tracey Duncan. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ashley Parrish (Robert), Brandon and Hunter Duncan; one great-grandson, Robert Parrish, Jr.; two sisters, Catherine Udell and Debbie Brosamle (Jeff); two brothers, Robert Dubois( Susanne) and James Dubois (Evangeline); brother-in-law, Joseph Rightmyer (Cheri), and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Hopewell chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, on Monday, March 18, 2103. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the National Kidney Foundation, 1742 East Parham Road, Richmond, Va. 23228, or the Theater Company at Fort Lee, 3312 A.
