Personalized Head Panels

An embroidered head panel may be added to any casket to achieve personalization. Shown here, are only a few of the choices that are available. Your funeral director will gladly present you with all available options. Custom embroidery may also be added to any panel to include more individual information, such as, name, date of birth, date of death, etc.

Family Sedan

Upon your request, the funeral home will provide one or more sedan(s) to transport family members to and from the funeral service. You may choose to be picked up from your home and returned there following the service or you may drive your personal vehicle to the funeral home and use the family sedan for transportation to and from the cemetery. Our family sedan seats 4 passengers comfortably and includes a driver.

Burial Clothing

For your convenience, our funeral home offers a selection of burial clothing for both men and women in a variety of styles and colors. Underclothing is included with each purchase.

KeepStones Temporary Grave Marker

KeepStones are designed to serve as an attractive, temporary marker while the permanent gravestone is being completed. Once the gravestone is in place, KeepStones become a permanent keepsake for the family to treasure and hand down. Often, multiple KeepStones are ordered for various family members to own. KeepStones are fashioned from natural, high-density, dolomitic stone. The material has characteristics similar to granite, making KeepStones impervious to the elements—they will look beautiful for generations to come.

Date of Death Engraving

For your convenience, J. T. Morriss & Son offers monument sales and service to include engraving. If chosen as a package item, our standard service includes sandblast engraving of the month, day, and year of death. Engraving will be carefully matched to any existing lettering on the monument or headstone and will be done in a timely manner, (usually within two weeks). Custom monuments and headstones are also available. Please ask your funeral director for additional information.

Balloon Release

A balloon release is a visualization of the love we have for the one who has died.It is an excellant way to involve children (grandchildren) in the funeral ceremony. Balloon releases are often used for funerals of children and younger people, but may be used regardless of age. The release most often takes place at the cemetery or final resting place. When selected as a Remembrance Item, the balloon release consists of up to 50 balloons in your choice of color. They will be transported to the cemetery by the funeral home.

Memories of a Lifetime—Video Memorial Tribute

J. T. Morriss & Son offers family members and friends a unique way to celebrate a life. Memories of a Lifetime is a video tribute prepared by the funeral home using up to fifty of your family photographs. The tribute is displayed at the visitation or funeral service using a 42” plasma screen. It is also made available through the funeral home’s website, www.jtmorriss.com. Copies of the tribute may be purchased in DVD or VHS format.

Video Tribute Copies

The Memories of a Lifetime video memorial tribute that is displayed at the funeral home may be purchased in either DVD or VHS format. This allows family members to view the video tribute in the privacy of their own home for years to come. If purchased individually, copies are $25.00 each. However, if purchased as a Remembrance Item within a package, you will receive 7 copies (a $175.00 value for $150.00).

Custom Portrait

Using a photograph of the deceased, a custom portrait can be created as a lasting keepsake. In most cases, the portrait may be available for display at the visitation and funeral or memorial service. Portraits are displayed in a temporary frame and presented to the family in a cardboard tube following the service. Portrait size is 18” x 24”.

Basic Memorial Folder

Basic Memorial Folders are created to include basic information about the deceased, funeral service, and a verse or poem. When selected as a Remembrance Item, 150 folders are produced. Folder size is 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”.

Personalized Memorial Folders

Personalized Memorial Folders are created to include basic information about the deceased, funeral service, a verse or poem, and a photograph of the deceased which is place on the front of the folder. This folder is made of high-quality paper with a deckle edge and is framed with a gold foil stamp. When selected as a Remembrance Item, 100 folders are produced. Folder size is 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”.

Reflections of Life Memorial Folders

The Reflection of Life series provides the ultimate in personalized memorial folders. Using up to 5 photographs of the deceased, this unique folder is created to include information about the funeral service and a life story or obituary notice and are printed in full color. When selected as a Remembrance Item, 75 folders are produced. Folder size is 8 1/2” x 11”. Several backgrounds to choose from.
